Family violence in the new Russian realities: essence, types and reasons

The article deals with the problem of domestic violence, which has its roots since ancient times and is quite common at present time. main types forms violence (physical, economic, sexual, psychological) are considered. In Russian society, women do not feel protected from spouses other close relatives. modern conditions, various use force against common: despotism, beatings, rape, sexual harassment. many societies, family between a man woman perceived as crime but private matter family. It believed that members resort to physical in cases where they have no opportunity influence family’s decision-making due lack authority.
